Terms of Monte Lee's contract released, including buyout clauses

CLEMSON – Clemson University released the terms of new head baseball coach Monte Lee’s contract Tuesday afternoon, a contract that will run through 2020.

Lee was hired in June to replace Hall of Fame coach Jack Leggett, and the details of the contract released Tuesday show that Lee will be paid a base salary of $225,000 with a Supplemental Income of $125,000 for a total yearly compensation package of $350,000.

Apparel contracts go through the university so the Lee will not receive any additional apparel compensation from the manufacturer or university.

Lee’s contract took effect on June 18th, 2015 and will run through June 30, 2020.
