Tee Time: Higgins working hard for a starting spot

CLEMSON – Tee Higgins is the heir apparent at Clemson’s vaunted “9-man” receiver position, a position manned by the likes of DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Charone Peake and Mike Williams.

Higgins also knows that he must work for that spot.

Higgins had 17 receptions for 345 yards and two touchdowns in 179 snaps over 13 games during his freshman season, averaging 20.3 yards per reception. There were more than a few highlights – he had a game-high six receptions for a game-high 178 yards and two touchdowns against The Citadel on Nov.
