Swinney talks Lamar, Pollard - Clemson receives FAA paperwork

Before wrapping up his sit-down at last month’s ACC media days, Dabo Swinney confirmed that he would continue to promote prospects who sign financial aid agreements with Clemson.

Swinney made good on his word before fielding questions during Tuesday’s press conference. Earlier that afternoon, Clemson announced it had received the necessary paper work from offensive lineman Sean Pollard and linebacker Tre Lamar.

“Talk about Christmas in August with Tre Lamar and Sean Pollard signing up to be Tigers,” Swinney said. “Man, I can’t tell you how excited we are about those two guys.
