Skara: 'We have to do a better job'

Clemson suffered its first loss in Littlejohn Coliseum this season as it fell to No. 12 Duke 66-57 on Sunday afternoon. The loss was Clemson’s second straight, the first time that has happened this season. With the loss, the Blue Devils clinch second place in the ACC at 10-4 while the Tigers drop to fourth place at 9-5.

Late in the second half, Clemson (20-6) found itself down as much as 10 points. But after David Skara made a layup with 2:03 to play, the Tigers rallied back to tie the game. Duke’s Gary Trent Jr. responded with a three-point shot, he was fouled by Scott Spencer, and then the guard made all three free throws.
