ROEBUCK, S.C. — Practices for the 81st-annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas all-star game began on Monday at Dorman High School in Roebuck, S.C.
A couple of Clemson’s commitments are among the participants — Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe four-star athlete Derion Kendrick and Central (S.C.) Daniel four-star linebacker Jake Venables — while one of the game’s headliners is five-star Clemson defensive end target K.J. Henry of Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth.
The Clemson Insider was on hand for the first practice session Monday morning. Here are some notes from what we witnessed:
— Kendrick and Venables were both sporting Clemson gloves during the first practice.
