As his Clemson career comes to an end, wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud made an impact on the program. In his three seasons as a Tiger the junior out of Tampa had 127 receptions for 1,226 yards and four career touchdowns.
During his final season in 2017, McCloud finished third on the team with 49 catches for 503 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 12.1 yards per punt return and had 25 returns for 303 yards, including a 77-yard punt return for a touchdown at N.C. State in November.
After the Tigers’ disappointing loss to Alabama in the 2017 College Football Playoff Sugar Bowl, McCloud had a very important decision to make as to whether or not he would forgo his senior year at Clemson.
