Seminoles blast Tigers in game two

CLEMSON – Pitching and defense weren’t kind to Clemson Sunday afternoon.

Two big errors and other defensive miscues didn’t help a struggling pitching staff as No. 3 Florida St. evened the weekend series with an 11-2 victory over the Tigers at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Florida St improves to 29-12 overall and 14-5 in the ACC, while Clemson falls to 27-15 and 10-13. The rubber match of the three-game series is scheduled for Monday at 7p.m.

The Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Chase Pinder led off with a single to center.
