Dabo Swinney said two more players will be honored on Saturday when fourth-ranked Clemson takes on The Citadel in the Tigers’ home finale.
Swinney said defensive tackle Christian Wilkins and left guard Taylor Hearn asked him if they could participate on Senior Day, which will honor Clemson’s six scholarship seniors – Dorian O’Daniel, Maverick Morris, Marcus Edmond, Tyrone Crowder, D.J. Greenlee and Ryan Carter.
Walk-ons Christian Grooms, Connor Sekas, Kelby Bevelle, Kaleb Bevelle, Drew Costa and Jack Swinney will also be honored on Saturday.
Swinney said don’t read too much into Wilkins and Hearn asking to be honored, he says it has more to do with them graduating then giving an indication they are leaving school early to go pro.
