The Tigers defeated Winthrop 6-5 in the 11th thanks to a walkoff RBI from Reed Rohlman.
Clemson jumped to a lead in the first inning against Winthrop. With one out Seth Beer singled to left field and then advanced to second on a passed ball. Chris Williams singled with two outs and Seth just beat the tag at home. The Tigers led 1-0 after the first.
In the bottom of the fourth inning Clemson battled back scoring three runs to tie the game. After three consecutive singles from Jackson, Davidson, and Cox, Wharton hit a sacrifice fly to score Jackson.
