We told you last week that Clemson football was seeking to add a different non-conference opponent to its 2021 schedule to bolster the overall strength.
Well, the Tigers finally found a match and we’ll see Clemson take on historical rival Georgia in a neutral site game in 2021, according to Brett McMurphy.
Clemson and Georgia haven’t met since 2014 and were scheduled for several future games, including a neutral site tilt in Atlanta in 2024 and home-and-home series in 2029-30 and 2032-33.
The Tigers were in need of scheduling a quality opponent for 2021 since their original non-conference schedule was SC State, Wyoming, UConn and South Carolina.
