Rising senior shortstop commits to Clemson

Logan Davidson was ready to pull the trigger, so before leaving Clemson on Thursday afternoon, he committed to Clemson.

Winthrop was his only other offer, but upcoming trips to UNC, Wake Forest, ECU and UNC-Wilmington were expected to net some good news. All four of those visits have since been cancelled.

“Once I saw Clemson, I knew it was the one. I could tell that I didn’t need to take those other visits,” Davidson told The Clemson Insider on Thursday night.

The 6-3, 180-pound switch-hitting shortstop from Charlotte-Providence stopped by Clemson while on the way back home from a tournament in Atlanta.
