Marcquise Reed led No.19 Clemson to a 3-0 start to the season as the Tigers defeated Sam Houston State 74 -59 at Littlejohn Coliseum on Wednesday.
It wasn’t the prettiest of starts for Clemson as the team had a tough time managing possession in the first half. With a big run near the midpoint of the second half, the Tigers were able to take over the game and secure the win the comfortable victory.
It was a big game for top player Marcquise Reed as he led the Tigers in scoring with 26 points. While Reed was the go to scorer on one end of the court, he managed to get it done on both ends as he recorded two steals to go along with five rebounds.
