With the additions of Mark Fields and Van Smith, some of Charlotte’s best have been added to the Clemson secondary for 2015.
The Tigers continue to mine the Queen City help in the defensive back field. Mike Reed, who took over the secondary coach job in 2013, offered 2017 cornerback Jacobe Clement just days after he was in for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.
“Coach Mike Reed told me he would like to offer before I left camp Saturday, then he talked to my mom (Monday) morning to make it official,” Clement told TheClemsonInsider, during a recent interview.
