Quick Thoughts from Atlanta: Clemson's offense shows little improvement

ATLANTA — Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has talked about being playoff-ready for game one, and one team looked playoff-ready Saturday in Atlanta—one team looked elite. That team was Georgia.

The Bulldogs scored four second-half touchdowns, and it was their second-half adjustments that made the difference. Georgia didn’t have much success challenging Clemson vertically in the first half, but in the second half, it ran the Tiger defense sideline to sideline—jet sweeps and motions and quick game—asserting its dominance.

Sitting there watching it – seeing all of those quick-twitch athletes making plays in space was reminiscent of what it once looked like at Clemson.
