SEABROOK – Before a crowded auditorium at Whale Branch Early College High School, four-star defensive tackle Nyles Pinckney committed to Clemson.
Pinckney is the first defensive tackle commit to join Clemson’s 2016 class, which is now back to 11 members.
Already committed to Clemson on the defensive side of the ball are four-star defensive end Xavier Kelly, four-star linebacker Tre Lamar and three-star linebacker Jamie Skalski.
Pinckney is Clemson’s second instate commitment for 2016. Four-star running back Tavien Feaster made his announcement in February.
