The Clemson baseball team defeated No. 18 South Carolina, 4-1, on Sunday to win the three-game series. Here is a photo gallery from the Tigers’ big win.
The Tigers (8-2) won the series thanks to Alex Eubanks’ stellar performance on the mound. The freshman pitcher went 7 2/3 innings, while allowing only one run on six hits. He had eight strikeouts and only one walk in earning his second win of the year.
It was Eubanks first career start.
Clemson will play Winthrop on Wednesday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.
