CLEMSON - Zac Brooks arrived at Clemson as one of the top running backs in the nation and the No. 1 player coming out of Arkansas. But instead of making an immediate impact on the program, Brooks has had to display a lot of patience during his career with the Tigers.
That is paying off this season as Brooks has moved back up the depth chart after redshirting last year because of an injury to sit second behind Wayne Gallman.
“With the injuries, it slows you down, and it helps you think, and it helps you realize what it’s all about,” Brooks said.
