What a night it was in Charlotte.
Following most games, I don’t get to go to the field with time left on the clock. I have to stay in the press box and make sure the game story is posted (with pics) as soon as the game ends, and might have one or two other things that have to get done before we can go down for interviews. Saturday was the exception, and I recently bought a tablet just for such an occasion.
Nikki and I made it to the playing field with just over two minutes to go, I logged into the nearest WiFi signal and began to watch the last two, crazy minutes of a dream season unfold just feet from where I stood.
