Clemson commitment Seth Beer has yet to meet Monte Lee, but he’s heard plenty of good things about the Tigers’ new head coach.
“All of my summer ball coaches, my high school coaches, a lot of people that I know have told me that he’s just a great guy and a great leader and just an all-around great coach,” Beer said.
Committed to enroll at Clemson in January, Beer remains on track to play his freshman year at Clemson, instead of finishing up his senior year at Lambert High School in Suwanee, Ga.
Beer reached that decision last fall when he committed to play for Jack Leggett.
