GREENVILLE — Clemson head coach Brad Brownell spoke to the media following the Tigers’ 89-83 loss to Notre Dame on Monday night at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville.
Despite cutting the lead to one or two points on eight different occasions, the Tigers could not get over the hump as they fell to 14-10 overall and 7-5 in the ACC. The loss put Clemson a game-behind the Irish in the ACC standings, who improved to 17-7 and 7-4 in the ACC.
Clemson now sits in a tie for sixth place in the ACC, while Notre Dame is a half-game back of third place.
