CLEMSON – Everywhere you look this season, safety Nolan Turner is making a play for the Clemson defense. However, if you’ve watched the Tigers over the last two seasons you know that making plays is what Turner does best.
The native of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, is sixth on the team with 24 tackles this season, including a team-high nine-tackle effort in the season opener against Georgia Tech. Last Saturday at North Carolina, Turner was once again in the middle of the action and recorded six tackles (one for loss) and contributed to the game-winning stop on a two-point conversion attempt in the win over the Tar Heels.
