Artavis Scott doesn’t care how the yards are added up once they’re on the stat sheet.
When Scott goes in motion on the jet sweep and receives the short, little toss from Deshaun Watson, it’s counted as a pass.
Some stat nerds believe it should count as a run. The pro-passing crowd likes it as is.
Run. Pass. Who cares? Scott certainly has no preference.
“It really doesn’t matter either way. It’s great yardage for our team. I mean, it’s whatever,” he said.
Through five games this season, Scott is first among Clemson pass catchers with 29 receptions for 281 yards.
