The football team formerly known Oakland Raiders (soon to be Las Vegas Raiders) selected Clelin Ferrell with the 4th pick in the 2019 NFL draft.
Ferrell is an almost 6’5, 265 pound defensive end with an ideal combination of power and speed. He is a three year starter in one of the best defensive fronts in college football history. After tearing his ACL as a senior in high school and subsequently redshirting as a freshman, he didn’t miss a game in his college career.
Ferrell was one of the cornerstone defensive players Clemson built their dominant defense around.
