Knocking on the door – and sometimes trying to power through the wind – encapsulated Clemson against the No. 11-ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons this weekend.

After three innings Saturday, Clemson trailed by 10. They matched that mark by the sixth inning, but the Deacs had scratched across two more runs by then and held on to even the series.
