A national outlet recently identified the best player fit for each team on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) pegged Clemson safety R.J. Mickens as the best fit for the New York Jets.
Here’s what PFF’s Mason Cameron had to say regarding why Mickens is the prospect for the Jets to target on the third and final day of the draft:
“Mickens brings an NFL pedigree — his father Ray was drafted by the Jets in 1996 — which shows up on tape in his awareness and instincts. Across his four seasons at Clemson, Mickens posted a zone PFF coverage grade in the 98th percentile.
