WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Running back Wayne Gallman set the stage for No. 4 Clemson with his 42-yard touchdown on the Tigers’ opening possession as they rolled to a 35-13 victory over Wake Forest at BB&T Field on Saturday night in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Gallman later scored a second touchdown on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter, and finished the game with 161 yards on 22 carries as he paced the Tigers for 254 yards overall.
The 161 yards marked the 16th time the junior rushed for 100 or more yards in a game, setting a new mark at Clemson.
