Michigan commit ‘excited’ to get offer from Clemson

Clemson has offered Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban 2019 four-star offensive guard Nolan Rumler, he announced on social media Wednesday evening.

“Excited to have received an offer from Clemson!” Rumler wrote in a Twitter post.

Rumler (6-4, 300) grew up a Michigan fan and committed to the Wolverines in July 2017. In addition to Michigan and Clemson, he lists offers from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin among others.

As a junior last season, Rumler helped Archbishop Hoban win its second straight state championship.

Rumler is ranked as a top-five offensive guard and top-100 overall prospect in the 2019 class by all the major recruiting services.
