In late June, Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables informed Miami-Columbus cornerback Trajan Bandy that he had an offer from the Tigers.
Bandy, who’s listed as a four-star by Rivals and ranked as the No. 27 cornerback in the class of 2017, was more than happy to add Clemson to his list of suitors.
“I remember coach Brent Venables being in contact with my coach. I was lifting weights that day when I got the call from coach, he called me over and told me that Brent Venables offered me,” Bandy said, during a recent interview with TheClemsonInsider.
