Marcquise Reed visits Clemson, sets decision date

Marcquise Reed visited Clemson’s campus on Saturday and hopes to have a decision as early as Monday.

The former Robert Morris guard was named the Northeast Conference’s top rookie after a season in which he averaged 15.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in helping the Colonials advance to the NCAA Tournament. Robert Morris knocked off North Florida before eventually falling to No. 1 Duke. Reed scored 19 against North Florida and scored 22 against the Blue Devils, the eventual national champs.

Following the season, Reed announced his plans to transfer and visited with the Clemson coaches on Saturday.
