After sitting out the season with injuries, sophomore forward Malik William has announced he will leave Clemson. William is the second forward to announce his intent to transfer from the Tigers, as Javan White is also deciding to move on.
William is a 6’8” forward from Orlando, Florida. William was a three star prospect out of First Academy in Orlando. He chose Clemson over UConn, Duquesne, Northern Arizona, Richmond, USF, UCF, and West Virginia. In addition to William and White, the Tigers will have to replace Marcquise Reed, Shelton Mitchell, Elijah Thomas, and David Skara. As many other transfer candidates announce, Clemson will once again need to rely on the transfer market to fill in depth.
