CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Of the 54 touchdown drives top-ranked Clemson had during regular season play, two were longer than 90 yards.
The Tigers added two more in Saturday’s, 45-37, ACC Championship win over North Carolina at Bank of America.
The first went 96 yards over 12 plays and was capped by a 9-yard Deshaun Watson touchdown run. No. 2 was a 13-play, 97-yard march that ended after Wayne Gallman’s 3-yard jaunt.
It’s become old hat to Jeff Scott. In addition to the 90-plus drives, Clemson’s had 11 touchdown drives that were 80 yards or longer.
