During the middle of a Saturday afternoon workout, Jack Stamler decided he was ready to accept Monte Lee’s offer to play baseball at Clemson.
The 6-1, 190-pound lefty from Greenville’s J.L. Mann High School committed to Clemson over offers from South Carolina, Virginia, Notre Dame, The Citadel, Furman and West Virginia.
“The campus is amazing, great baseball team, great baseball facilities and great coaches,” Stamler said, during an interview with TheClemsonInsider on Saturday night.
The opportunity to play for Lee was apart of the attraction.
“He’s a great guy. He’s a great coach, what he did at College of Charleston,” Stamler said.
