Sources have confirmed to The Clemson Insider that College of Charleston head coach Monte Lee will be the new head baseball coach at Clemson.
TCI has been told that Clemson and Lee have agreed in principle to a deal that will make Lee the next head baseball coach. The two parties are still working on the final details of the contract.
Lee takes over for Jack Leggett, who was not retained for the final year of his contract by Dan Radakovich on June 4.
Lee, 38, just completed his seventh season in Charleston.
The Cougars went 45-15 this season, which ended with a loss in the Tallahassee Regional finals to Florida State.
