Late 3-pointer dooms Tigers in loss at Miami

Miami’s Zach Johnson hit a stepback 3-pointer with 0.1 seconds remaining and the Hurricanes upset Clemson 65-64 in Miami Wednesday night, breaking Clemson’s four-game winning streak in the league and dealing a blow to the Tigers’ NCAA Tournament hopes.

The Tigers fall to 15-9 overall and 5-6 in the ACC, while Miami improves to 11-13 overall and just 3-9 in the league.

DJ Vasiljevic scored 22 points and Chris Lykes added 21 to lead Miami. Marcquise Reed had 19 to lead Clemson, while Elijah Thomas added 16 and Shelton Mitchell 15.
