Clemson added four-star Tre Lamar to an already strong 2016 linebacker class.
With five-star Rahshaun Smith and three-star Jamie Skalski already committed to the Tigers, Lamar is the third and final piece for Brent Venables’ linebacker haul.
Lamar committed to Clemson while in town on Friday for the fourth-annual All-In Cookout over Auburn and Alabama. Florida and Florida State also had offers out to Lamar, who’s from Roswell High School in Georgia.
Clemson already had commitments from three Peach State prospects before Lamar pledged: Zerrick Cooper, Chandler Reeves and Skalski.
