GREENVILLE, S.C. — Deshaun Watson was not the only former Clemson player being honored at the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame on Thursday.
Former Clemson and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Levon Kirkland was inducted into its hall of fame at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville as well.
Kirkland was an All-American linebacker at Clemson from 1988-’91 where he helped the Tigers win two ACC Championships and three bowl games. He was a second-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1992 where he went on to a nine-year career with the Steelers which saw him play in several Pro Bowls, a Super Bowl as well as earning two All-Pro selections.
