Former Clemson defensive end Kevin Dodd was, by most accounts, at the top of the Carolina Panthers leader board for defensive end, but they chose to pass on him Thursday night.
Now, the Panthers will have to go to their next selection as Dodd will be dawning navy and blue up in Tennessee as a Titan.
The Tennessee Titans decided to take Dodd with the 33rd overall pick in the second round, making him the second Clemson defensive end taken in the NFL Draft.
I believe this a great fit for Dodd, whose stock has been rising since he decided to declare for the NFL Draft and now he can come in and be a strong-side defensive end in the Titans’ scheme.
