Kendall Joseph admits it was a little strange going to practice for the first time on Thursday to open fall camp and not hearing that familiar voice that always got the defense charged up.
Of course, he is talking about former Clemson All-American Ben Boulware, who is now annoying the likes of Luke Kuechly and the Carolina Panthers as he attempts to make the Panthers’ 53-man roster.
“It is a little different,” Joseph said. “You don’t have that loud voice, that energy, but that is how college works. It is the next man up. We have to continue his legacy and play the game the way he would want us to play it and that is what we will do.
