SAN JOSE, CA – Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney walked into Tuesday morning’s final College Football Playoff National Championship press conference with tired eyes and a raspy voice, all the result of a long night of celebrating his program’s second title in three years.
His smile was full of energy, however, as he and the team celebrated not only the title but the birthday of the late Dwight Clark.
“What a quick night we had, but what a fun night, celebrating with our team and our families, fans, and friends, celebrating just an incredibly special, special accomplishment by this team,” Swinney said.
