SUNSET – Defensive coordinator Brent Venables sat down with the media this week at head coach Dabo Swinney’s annual media golf outing, and he was asked if there was one player on his roster that would be a household name by the end of the season. His answer was quick and to the point: safety T.J. Green.
Venables smiled brightly and said that he knew Green was on the right track when he picked off Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight late in the Tigers’ win over the Sooners in the Russell Athletic Bowl in December.
