CLEMSON, SC — TCI takes a look back at Clemson’s 9-2 loss to Wright State on Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium to drop their season opening series.
What happened?
The Raiders (2-1) took an early lead in the second with a RBI double and two-run homer that went off the glove of KJ Bryant over the fence. The Tigers (1-1) cut into the deficit as Seth Beer homered off the batter’s eye to make it 3-1. Wright State then slowly kept putting insurance runs on the board as they scored two in the fifth, single runs in the seventh and eighth, and two runs in the ninth to make it 9-1.
