CLEMSON, SC — TCI takes a look back at Clemson’s 6-4 loss to Wright State in the season opener for both teams on Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
What happened?
The Tigers opened the scoring in the second inning as Logan Davidson led off with a single and then came in to score on a one-out single from Grayson Byrd. Clemson would add a run to their lead in the third as Seth Beer led off the frame with a double before coming in to score on a RBI single from Davidson. The Raiders would tie the game in the fifth with two runs on three hits, but the Tigers responded in the bottom of the inning as Davidson hit a bases loaded sac fly to make the score 3-2 Clemson.
