LOUISVILLE, KY — TCI looks back at Clemson’s 10-2 loss to Virginia on Friday afternoon at the ACC Baseball Championship in a game held at Jim Patterson Stadium on the University of Louisville campus.

What happened?

The Tigers (39-19) started strong as Chase Pinder led off the game with a walk and Reed Rohlman singled before a RBI fielder’s choice from Seth Beer made it 1-0. The Cavaliers (42-14) responded in a big way in the bottom of the first as the first six batters reached and Virginia scored eight runs on nine hits. The Cavaliers would extend their lead to 9-1 in the fifth with a single run and stretch the lead to 10-1 in the eighth.
