CLEMSON, SC — TCI takes a look back at Clemson’s (0-1) 4-3 setback to Maine (1-0) in the season opener for both teams on Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
What happened?
The Tigers opened the scoring with a two-run first inning. Eli White reached on a one-out error and Reed Rohlman doubled down the first base line to plate White. After a groundout moved Rohlman up a base, he came in to score on a balk to give Clemson a 2-0 lead. The Black Bears tied the games with a two-run inning of the own in the third before taking a 3-2 lead in the sixth inning.
