COLUMBIA, SC — TCI looks back at Clemson’s 9-2 win over Michigan State on Wednesday evening at Fluor Field.
What happened?
The Tigers (9-3) got things going in the second inning as Chase Pinder and Weston Jackson led the frame off with back-to-back singles. Chris Williams then delivered a two-run double down the left field line to plate both runners and make it 2-0 Clemson. After Andrew Cox reached on a throwing error on a sac bunt, Jordan Greene hit into a double play but was able to bring Williams in to make it 3-0.
