CLEMSON, SC — TCI takes a look back at Clemson’s (1-1) 9-4 win over Maine (1-1) to tie the series on Saturday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
What happened?
The Tigers opened the scoring with a five-run second inning. Chris Williams, Weston Wilson, and Robert Jolly all reached base to start the inning before a balk brought a run in. Adam Renwick followed with a two-run double to increase the lead to 3-0. After a wild pitch, Chase Pinder drove in a run with a groundout before Eli White walked. Following a stolen base, Reed Rohlman doubled to right to score the final run of the inning.
