The Clemson Insider takes a look back at No. 7 Clemson’s 8-7 walkoff win over No. 23 South Carolina on Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium to win the rivalry series.
What happened?
The Tigers (10-1) struck early as Patrick Cromwell hit an opposite field homer in the first for a 1-0 lead. Clemson added two runs in the third on a Chris Williams RBI single and a RBI groundout from Robert Jolly to make it 3-0. The Tigers doubled their lead in the fourth on a RBI double by Logan Davidson and a two-run hit by Cromwell extended the score to 6-0.
