CLEMSON, SC — TCI looks back at Clemson’s 8-0 win over Furman on Tuesday evening at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
What happened?
The Paladins (11-12) threatened first as they had runners on second and third with only one out in the second inning, but a strikeout and ground ball ended the threat. The Tigers (21-4) bounced back in the bottom of the frame as Andrew Cox led off with a walk, stole second, and came in to score on a Weston Jackson RBI double. Clemson doubled their lead in the fourth as Logan Davidson led off with a single and advanced on a passed ball before Grayson Byrd hit a two-out RBI single to make it 2-0.
