MOUNT PLEASANT, SC — TCI looks back at Clemson’s 8-4 win over College of Charleston on Tuesday night at Patriots Point.
What happened?
The Tigers (17-4) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second as Chris Williams hit a solo homer down the left field line. The Cougars (8-13) answered in the bottom of the frame with a solo shot of their own to make it 1-1. Clemson took the lead for good in the third as Chase Pinder doubled down the right field line, moved up on a fly ball, and came in to score on a wild pitch.
