The Clemson Insider takes a look back at No. 6 Clemson’s 6-3 comeback win over Wofford on Tuesday evening at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
What happened?
The Terriers (6-6) jumped out to an early lead with a two-run double in the top of the first. The Tigers (11-1) cut the deficit in half in the fourth as back-to-back walks to Patrick Cromwell and Chris Williams opened the inning then a sac bunt and RBI groundout from Drew Wharton scored Cromwell to make it 2-1. Wofford answered right back in the fifth to stretch their lead to 3-1, but Clemson again drew within one run in the sixth on a homer off the scoreboard from Justin Hawkins.
